CUET UG Result 2025: NTA Drops 27 Questions from Final Key; Result Expected Soon
New Delhi, July 2, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025. In a significant move, NTA has dropped 27 questions from the key following expert review and student objections. The result is expected to be declared soon on the official portal.

27 questions removed from various papers in the final answer key. All candidates will be awarded full 5 marks for each of the dropped questions.
CUET UG 2025 was conducted from May 13 to June 4, with more than 13.5 lakh students appearing for the exam.
The provisional answer key was released on June 17, and the objection window closed on June 20.

NTA will apply the normalization process to ensure fairness across different shifts.
Marking scheme remains: +5 for correct answers, –1 for incorrect answers, and +5 bonus marks for each dropped question.
The final scorecard will display raw scores, normalized scores, percentiles, total marks, and qualifying status.
No all-India rank list will be released by NTA; instead, individual universities will prepare their own merit lists based on CUET scores.
