Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced that the registration for Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2025 for BTech programs will commence on May 27, 2025, and will continue until June 30, 2025. Eligible candidates can register online through the official portal: uptac.admissions.nic.in.

🧾 Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.

• Entrance Exam: A valid JEE Main 2025 score is required for BTech admissions.

• Minimum Marks: General category candidates should have secured at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.

• Domicile: Candidates from Uttar Pradesh and other states are eligible. However, non-UP candidates will be considered for 20% of the seats in private institutions affiliated with AKTU.

1. Visit uptac.admissions.nic.in.

2. Click on the “BTech Counselling Registration 2025” link.

3. Enter your JEE Main 2025 application number and other required details.

4. Pay the non-refundable counselling fee of ₹1,000 online.

5. Upload scanned copies of necessary documents.

6. Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.

• Domicile certificate (if applicable)

• Category certificate (for reserved categories)

• Passport-sized photographs

UPTAC 2025 facilitates admissions to BTech programs in various government and private engineering colleges affiliated with AKTU across Uttar Pradesh. Admissions are based on JEE Main 2025 scores.

• Special counselling rounds may be conducted in September 2025 if seats remain vacant.
