May 13, 2025 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Class 12 board examination results for 2025. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 88.39%, marking a slight increase from last year’s 87.98%.

📊 Key Highlights:

• Total Candidates Appeared: 16,92,794

• Total Candidates Passed: 14,96,307

• Overall Pass Percentage: 88.39%

• Girls’ Pass Percentage: 91.64%

• Boys’ Pass Percentage: 85.70%

Girls have once again outperformed boys by a margin of 5.94 percentage points.

🏆 Top Performing Regions:

• Vijayawada: 99.60%

• Trivandrum: 99.32%

• Chennai: 97.39%

Vijayawada has emerged as the top-performing region with a pass percentage of 99.60%.

🏫 School-Wise Performance:

• Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs): 99.29%

• Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs): 99.05%

• Government-Aided Schools: 91.57%

• Government Schools: 90.48%

• Independent Schools: 87.94%

JNVs and KVs have maintained their reputation with outstanding pass percentages.

📈 High Achievers:

• Students Scoring Above 90%: 1,11,544

• Students Scoring Above 95%: 24,867

A significant number of students have achieved exceptional scores, with over 1.11 lakh students scoring above 90%.

To check results, students need to enter their roll number, school number, and admit card ID.
