113 new medical colleges get approval from government panel; 22 in UP
A list containing application numbers of each 113 applications is attached with this public notice
Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) under the National Medical Commission (NMC) recently released an official notification regarding 113 more medical colleges that earlier requested to start undergraduate medical courses from the academic year 2024-25.
The notice read, “The applications received for the establishment of new undergraduate medical colleges for the academic year 2024-25, it is informed that final decisions of MARB in respect of 113 applications have been communicated through e-mail IDs colleges concerned for information and necessary action by them within the stipulated timeline.”
MARB has released a list containing application numbers of each of the aforesaid 113 applications is attached with this public notice for general information.
NMC earlier released a list of new medical colleges that applied to start MBBS courses and the existing colleges seeking permission to increase the MBBS seats for the academic year 2024-2025.
The commission has informed that it received 170 online applications in this regard and it has also sent communications through the email IDs to the concerned medical institutes for information and necessary action.
Some of these colleges who requested NMC to begin undergraduate courses are as follows; Delhi Institute of Medical Sciences Najafgrah, South West Delhi, School of Medical Science, Sri Satya Sai University of Technology and Medical Sehore, MP, Autonomous State Medical College Kushinagar, UP, Autonomous State Medical College, Pilibhit, Bharat Medical College Bharat Medical College & Hospital, Purulia, Autonomous State Medical College Society District Male & Female Hospital Sultanpur, and Mahatma Vidur Autonomous State Medical College, Bijnor.
