NIFT Cut-off 2024: Admission process, course-wise BDesign cut-offs at NIFT campuses

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2024) final result for admission to undergraduate design courses has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission to BDesign and BA Fashion Technology courses will be granted on the basis of NIFT final merit list and each NIFT campuses will announce separate cut-offs.
The institute said that it will notify the NIFT BDes counselling schedule in the third week of May on the official website, nift.ac.in. Candidates who have qualified the written and situation test will have to submit their choice of course and college in the order of preference.
For admission to UG design programmes, applicants should have qualified General Ability Test (GAT), Creative Ability Test (CAT), and Situation Test. For BFTech, candidates who have cleared the General Ability Test (GAT) will be eligible.
NIFT counselling, selection process
The institute will announce the mode, dates, and details on selection procedure through counselling on the official website by this week. There will be multiple rounds of NIFT seat allocations. The choice filled by the candidates before seat allocation will be considered as final.
“Domicile seats will be merged with respective category seats after at least two rounds of seat allocation. Unfilled OBC (NCL) and EWS seats will be merged with Open Category seats after at atleast two rounds of seat allocation. PWD Seats will be merged with unfilled respective categories after PWD seat allocation,” the institute informed.
If seats remain vacant after all regular rounds, the institute will conduct a spot admission round for eligible candidates who have not been allotted seats and hold a valid CMR.
