NEET UG Cut-Off 2024: MBBS closing ranks in Himachal Pradesh went up last year

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 is going to be held tomorrow, May 5 for over 25 lakh candidates. Through NEET UG 2024 scores, 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota seats will be filled in MBBS and BDS medical colleges across India.
The medical entrance exam will be administered in 10 cities of Himachal Pradesh. There are a total of seven medical colleges in the state which offer MBBS programmes — Indira Gandhi Medical College, Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College, Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College, Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar Government Medical College, Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Medical College and Hospital, and Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College and Hospital.
The Atal Medical and Research University will conduct the NEET UG counselling 2024 on behalf of the directorate of medical education and research. There will be four rounds of counselling and the medical colleges will release opening and closing ranks based on NEET UG 2024 result.
Last year, the highest NEET UG cut off 2023 for MBBS programmes was 24,404 at Indira Gandhi Medical College for the open category seats. However, the MBBS cut-offs saw an increase as compared to the previous year in all colleges but IGMC.
