NEET UG 2023 Counselling: MCC uploads newly added seats for round 2 at mcc.nic.in
MCC had announced the addition of 7 government and private medical colleges who received LOP late for undergraduate MBBS, BDS courses.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has uploaded the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) seat matrix for round 2 counselling. The NEET UG 2023 seat matrix PDF has only the newly added seats. Candidates can check the medical colleges, courses and availability of seats on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
A total of 584 seats have been added for the NEET UG round 2 counselling. Through the process, MBBS, BDS admission will be granted to candidates based on the NEET UG ranks against the All India Quota.
On August 2, the MCC had announced the addition of seven government and private medical colleges who received letter of permission (LOP) late for undergraduate MBBS, BDS courses. Among the newly added MBBS seats, the seven colleges that got the LOP for UG courses late are -Government Medical College, Anantnag; MSD ASMC , Bahraich; Government Medical College, Udhampur; NAMO Medical College and Research Institute, Silvassa; Government Medical College, Bundi; Government Medical College, Hanumangarh; Government Medical College, Kathua.
The NEET UG 2023 choice filling for round 2 is underway. Candidates can check the courses and seats available from the list and can complete the choice filling process by August 15. Based on the preferences submitted by the candidates, the MCC will process the seat allotment and announce the seat allotment on August 18.
Along with the newly added seats, the MCC has also uploaded ‘clear vacancy’ 2023 for round 2 NEET UG counselling 2023.
