JEE Main cut-offs 2024 increase for all categories; rises by 2.45% for general category

The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2024) session 2 results have been declared for 10,67,959 students. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has hosted the JEE Main score card 2024 on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. The JEE Main cut-offs 2024 for all categories increased considerably compared to last year.
The raw score obtained by candidates who appeared in multiple shifts has been converted into percentile score to prepare the merit list. The JEE Main cut-off 2024 is determined based on the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates who appeared in the exam, previous years’ cut-off trends among other factors.
Candidates who have obtained the minimum JEE Main cut-off have been declared. Those who have secured a rank in top 2.5 lakh will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam 2024. This year, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is conducting JEE Advanced 2024 on May 26.
A total of 97,351 candidates belonging to unreserved category secured the minimum cut-off.
