JEE Advanced 2023 Result: Over 10,000 candidates from IIT Hyderabad zone qualify; IIT Delhi zone comes next
JEE Advanced 2023 Result: Of the total qualified candidates, as many as 10,432 candidates have passed from IIT Hyderabad zone.
Of the total qualified candidates, as many as 10,432 candidates have passed from the IIT Hyderabad zone and 9,290 from IIT Delhi zone have qualified. 7,957 candidates have qualified from IIT Bombay zone. 4,618 candidates have figured in the list of qualified candidates from IIT Kharagpur zone, followed by IIT Kanpur (4,582) and IIT Roorkee (4,499) zones. 2,395 candidates have qualified from the IIT JEE Advanced 2023 administering body, IIT Guwahati zone.
The minimum percentage of aggregate marks is 23.89% (86 marks) for candidates in the Common Rank List category, while it is 21.50% (77 marks) in the OBC-NCL and General- EWS rank lists. The minimum percentage of aggregate marks in the SC, ST and PwD categories is 11.95 (43 marks) percentage points and it is 5.98% (22 marks) in preparatory course (PC) rank lists.
Describing the criteria for inclusion in the rank list, an IIT Guwahati statement said: “The aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list.”
While the maximum aggregate marks is 360 (180 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2), the maximum marks in for physics, chemistry and maths is 120 each (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2).
