The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) results 2023 have been declared for 34,751 candidates. Candidates will be able to upload documents and freeze IISER preferences from today, July 4, to July 7. Based on the preference made, the first round of admission results will be declared on July 15, 2023.
“Candidates receive an Overall Rank (Common Rank) and a Category Rank (EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/KM) if applicable. Only those students who have a score of at least one mark in IAT 2023 will receive a rank,” the institute said.
IISERs are situated at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati. Through the IISER admission, a total of 1,808 seats will be filled. The institutes offer four year and five-year BS and BS-MS dual degree programmes. The programmes offered under the four-year programmes are biological sciences, chemical sciences, earth and climate sciences, economic sciences, engineering sciences, geological sciences, mathematical sciences, physical sciences etc.

Candidates will be able to download the IAT result 2023 by following the steps given below.
- Visit the IISER official website, iiseradmission.in.
- Click on the IAT result download link on the homepage.
- The page will redirect you to the IISER result page.
- Now, enter login credentials such as user ID and password.
- IISER result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the scorecard and keep it safe for future reference.
The IISER IAT score will be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Science (Research) programme at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-Madras) also offers admission to BS-Medical Sciences and Engineering through IISER score.
