LSAT 2026 Exam has been discontinued. LSAT India exam was an important national level entrance exam conducted for law aspirants. Law School Admission Council (LSAC) will no longer regulate the LSAT India exam for admission to UG, PG & integrated law programs.

LSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For LLB course:

  • Qualification: Students should have passed a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university/ institute to apply.
  • Marks: Applicants will have to score at least 45% marks to be eligible for exam.

For LLM course:

  • Qualification:Applicants must hold 3 years LLB degree or 5 years BA LLB degree from any recognized university/ institute.
  • Marks: Applicants will have to achieve a minimum of  45% marks to be eligible for exam.
  • Appearing: Students appearing in final year of qualifying degree will also be able to apply.

LSAT 2026 Exam Pattern

To know the LSAT Exam  Pattern 2026, check the given section:

  • Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted offline.
  • Duration: Students will have 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete the exam.
  • No. of Questions & type: Exam will consist of 92 multiple choice questions.
  • Medium: The language of exam will be English.
  • Marking scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded one mark and no negative marking will be done.

  • LSAC has discontinued the LSAT exam, so there will be no application form released for 2026.
  • The registration portal for LSAT 2026 will open in the third week of August 2025.
  • Aspirants should ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements for LSAT.
  • Fill the application form with personal and qualification details.
  • Make sure to upload scanned copies of required documents in specified format.
  • Once completed the application, do not  forget to print a copy for further records.

 

LSAT 2026 Admit Card

LSAT exam has been cancelled, so there will be no admit card release on the website. LSAT admit card 2026 will be issued after slot booking and will be downloaded using login credentials.

LSAT 2026 admit card is a crucial document for taking the test. It will be issued in third week of December 2026 for January session via online mode.

 

 

Result

LSAT 2026 Result

LSAT 2026 Results will be presented as a scaled score, including details like total scaled score, percentile and score band. It will be checked by the applicants via online mode.

Candidates will need to score between 420 and 480 marks to get shortlisted for further admission process. Various institutes will prepare their separate merit lists based on LSAT scores to shortlist candidates for counseling.

Counselling

LSAT 2026 Cut Off

LSAT 2026 cut off scores will be published via online mode. Each law school will release separate cut off scores based on various factors. The cut off scores will represent the minimum marks required by the applicants to qualify for admission process.

The cut off scores will be released on the website of the institutes based on merit of last year’s qualifying exam or other variables. Based on these cutoffs, students will be selected to participate in the admission procedure.

LSAT 2026 Counselling

There will be no centralised counselling sessions organised by the LSAC. Individuals interested in applying to law school should gather information about LSAT admission 2026 directly from the institutions they wish to attend.

Students will have to go through the website of the preferred  law schools and complete all the admission criteria specified by the institutes. The admission process for each Law school will be different as per their norms.
