OVERVIEW

The Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination (UGEE) is conducted by IIIT Hyderabad for admission to 5-year B.Tech + MS Dual Degree programs at IIIT Hyderabad. Students applying through UGEE mode are required to appear in this examination.

ABOUT

  • The exam will be a computer based test of 3 hours duration.
  • There will be 2 sections namely Subject Proficiency Test (SUPR) and Research Aptitude Test (REAP).
  • Section I will include questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics while Section II will include critical and creative thinking questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

  • Completed class XII or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics by June 2022.

 

Syllabus

Syllabus for IIITH UGEE will be same as CBSE XI and XII standard Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

MOCK TEST

  • The official mock test is made available to the candidates appearing for IIITH UGEE.
  • Candidates can take the Mock Test to understand the pattern of the computer based test and make themselves familiar with the interface.
  • Candidates can access the IIITH UGEE official Mock Test here.
  • The mock test is for practice purpose only.

IIITH UGEE 2022 Application Fee is ₹2,500 (₹1,250 for Female candidates).

Procedure

REGISTRATION

  • The registrations for IIITH UGEE 2022 examination will begin on March 10, 2022.
  • The last date to apply is May 15, 2022.
  • UPDATE (Mar 10, 2022): UGEE 2022 Applications are now open.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  • Candidates need to visit the IIIT-H Admissions website and register.
  • Login and fill the prescribed application form.
  • Pay the application fee online.
  • Download a copy of the application for future reference.

HALL TICKET / ADMIT CARD

  • The admit card can be downloaded from the IIITH Admissions site after it’s notified.
  • Please note that the Admit Card will be issued only to those candidates whose Application form is complete in all respects and has been submitted successfully on or before the last date of filling.
  • Candidates are required to produce the admit card at the test centre without which entry will not be allowed.

 

Result

QUALIFYING CUTOFF

Candidates need to clear the cutoff specified by IIIT-H in order to be shortlisted for Interview. Cutoff Marks for previous years’ are as follows:

RESULT

  • Results will be available on the IIIT-H site after it’s notified.
  • Candidates who clear the Qualifying Cutoff need to appear for an interview as per the notified schedule.
  • The decision on final offer of admission will be solely based on the interview performance.

ADMISSION

  • For admission to IIIT-H Dual Degree Programs, a candidate needs to take the UGEE exam followed by an interview which will be held as per the notified schedule.
  • Only the candidates who clear the Qualifying Cutoff are called for an interview.
  • The decision on final offer of admission will be solely based on the interview performance.
