The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar, established under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is an autonomous institute that offers exceptional education in the field of medical sciences. This prestigious institute was inaugurated on July 16, 2021, and owes its existence to the vision of Atal Bihari Bajpayee, who initiated the establishment of AIIMS across various cities such as Patna, Raipur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, and Rishikesh. Library

The institute boasts a state-of-the-art central library, established on October 3, 2012, and has witnessed remarkable growth over the past nine years. Located on the ground floor of the academic block, the library serves the diverse needs of students, staff, and research members across various disciplines, including B.Sc., MBBS, and nursing. It is a comprehensive resource hub that offers a wide range of reference materials, journals, and digital resources to support academic pursuits and facilitate cutting-edge research.

Laboratories

In emergencies, students can avail themselves of medical assistance at the hospital. With 920 beds, including private and disaster beds, the hospital is equipped to provide comprehensive healthcare services to students and the wider community.
