    The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has officially released the Round 5 seat allotment results for admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) for the 2025–26 academic year as of 5 p.m. IST today.

    ✅ Key Details:

    • Seat acceptance and reporting window is open from July 11 to July 14.

      • Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee and upload required documents during this period.

    • Fee details:

      • SC, ST, GEN‑PwD, EWS‑PwD, OBC‑NCL‑PwD, etc.: ₹15,000

      • Other categories: ₹30,000

    • Issue resolution deadline: All fee-payment queries or issues must be resolved by July 15.

    🔄 Important Options in Round 5:

    • This is the final round to use float or slide options.

      • Float: Accept current seat and remain eligible for higher-preference seats across institutes.

      • Slide: Accept current seat and remain eligible for higher-preference seats only within the same institute.

    • Round 6 will only allow freeze, meaning acceptance of the allotted seat with no further changes.
