The University of Delhi has released the first cut-off list for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025–26 under the CSAS system, and as expected, top colleges like Hindu College and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) have set some of the highest CUET score requirements.

Among all programs, BA (Hons) Political Science at Hindu College emerged as the most competitive, with an approximate CUET percentile requirement of 99.5%, followed closely by BCom (Hons) at SRCC and BA (Hons) Economics at Hansraj College, each demanding percentiles above 99% for the General category.

• High Demand Courses: Political Science, Economics, BCom (Hons), Psychology, and English remained the top choices across DU colleges.

• North Campus Dominance: Most of the highest cut-offs have been set by North Campus colleges, reaffirming their popularity.

• CUET-Based Admission: For the third consecutive year, admissions are solely based on CUET UG 2025 scores, eliminating Class 12 board marks from the merit calculation.

🎓 What’s Next for Aspirants?

Students who have secured allotments in the first round must accept their seat offers by July 21 (4:59 PM). Verification by colleges will be completed by July 22, and the fee payment window will close on July 23. Those seeking better options may revise their preferences for the second allotment round, scheduled for July 28.

With soaring cut-offs and limited seats in elite programs, the competition for Delhi University admissions continues to be intense. Students are advised to check their dashboards on the CSAS portal and follow deadlines carefully to ensure successful admission.
