OVERVIEW

LSAT 2024 Application Form can be filled till 10th January 2024 for January session. Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted twice a year i.e., January and June. The exam is conducted to provide admission in various UG, PG, and Integrated law courses in law institutions. It is conducted by LSAC (Law School Admission Council) and delivered by Pearson VUE. Candidates who qualify the exam get admission in various 85 law institutes across the country. Eligiblity

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for LSAT 2024 below:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for the candidates applying for exam.

For BA LLB courses:

  • Qualification: The candidates must pass 12th level or equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 45% marks to be eligible for exam.

For LLB course:

  • Qualification: Applicants must have bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university/ institute.
  • Marks: Candidates must score at least 45% aggregate marks in their qualifying exam.

For LLM course:

  • Qualification: The applicants must pass 3 years of LLB or 5 year of BA LLB programs from any recognized university.
  • Marks: In qualifying exam candidates must score at least 45% marks to be eligible for exam.
  • Appearing: Those candidates appearing final year in year 2024 are also eligible to apply.

Syllabus

The exam pattern for LSAT 2024 is mentioned below:

  • Exam mode: The exam is conducted through offline mode.
  • Duration: 2 hours and 20 minutes time will be allotted to candidates to solve the paper.
  • Type of Questions: The paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Medium: The medium of paper is in English language.
  • Total Questions: There will be total 92 questions in the exam.
  • Sections: The paper is divided into 4 sections.
  • Marking scheme: For every correct answer 1 mark will be given and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

LSAT 2024 Syllabus

The LSAC (Law School Admission Council) releases the LSAT syllabus through online mode. Candidates must focus on reasoning skills, analyse criticise, ability to understand, examples of lengthy and complex material, etc.

  • LSAT 2024 Application fee is Rs. 3999/- for all categories.
  • For January and June session application fee is Rs. 7998/-.
  • Registration fee can be submitted through online mode.
  • Candidates can pay online fee using Credit card, Debit card, and Net Banking, wallet or cash card.

Application Form

Below we have provided details about LSAT 2024 Application Form with some instructions:

  • LSAT 2024 application form has been released on 14th August 2023 for both sessions.
  • The application form for LSAT 2024 is made available through online mode.
  • Candidates must check fulfil the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.
  • Fill the application form with details such as personal, educational qualification, contact details, etc.
  • After entering the details, upload the scanned photograph and signature in the specific format.
  • The last date to submit the application form is till 10th January 2024 for January session and 7th May 2024 for June session.
  • Applicants need to take the printout of the application form for future references.

  • Step-2: Click on “Register for LSAT India” link.
  • Step-3: Fill the application form with details such as personal, academic etc.
  • Step-4: Candidates must check all the details carefully and click on submit button.
  • Step-5: Upload the scanned photograph and signature in prescribed size and format.
  • Step-6: Pay the application fee through online mode using Debit card, Credit card, etc.
  • Step-7: Take the printout of the application form for further references.
